Each class in this series will start with a fun and easy drawing, doodling, or mark making activity. The goal will be to make a series of interesting and unique papers for use in collages. We will primarily be working abstractly but students are welcome to take their papers full of expressive marks and turn them into landscapes, figures, or representational pieces. We will use our freshly marked papers to make collages and mixed media pieces. Each class will include examples, demonstrations, and time to share with the group.
